I am a founding member of the original DC Blues Society Band that performed at the 6th Annual DC Blues Festival at Carter Baron Amphitheater. I have also performed or shared the stage with legendary R&R band Link Wray’s Raymen, Dave Alvin & the Guilty Ones, Son Seals, Scott Ainslie, the Smokin’ Polecats, Bobby Radcliff, The Cathy Ponton King Band, and Jesse Yawn.

I have studied with recording artists Ronnie Earl, Duke Robillard, Paul Rishell and Little Annie Raines.

On November 4th, Brian Gross was inducted into the Northern Virginia Blues Hall of Fame. This prestigious award was in recognition of his continuing contribution to playing and preserving the traditions of authentic blues.

Currently I lead and perform with two groups; BG & the Mojo Hands, a four piece (or more) versatile blues band and with Delectrified, a unique duo (guitar and harmonica) performing traditional acoustic blues and slide guitar.
